Be happy at sunrise, and hopeful at sunset. (Positivity)

Hey people! I hope you had a fantastic week.

So this blog is going to be about this random thought which came to my mind a few days ago when my mind was completely troubled with a situation.

We always see how dark the night is, but do we ever think of the bright morning? Okay! Now I am not talking about the false hope of a magical happening and that that the morning you wake up you would be free of all those worries you had with you the night before. Because that just isn’t possible and is absurd.

But I am surely talking about the hope one should keep. Not on some mythical basis, but simply thinking reasonably.

Let me have the honour of explaining my point.

“We need to be happy at sunrise and hopeful at sunset.”

Here, by “sunrises” I mean the favourable or happy times, and “sunsets” depict tough times. Just as the sun rises and fills us with enthusiasm to live better today, the times which make us happy and we feel feelings to their fullest make you live better and enjoy the present. Also, as the sun sets, you feel the darkness around and become listless and feel like sleeping, just as what we do in tough times, wanting to sleep forever. But often what is ignored, is the importance of stars. Would you like to guess what stars depict?

To me, the stars depict the lustrous hope in darkness. Otherwise, why would they be there in that dark sky? Because they were meant to have a meaning in their existence.

Similarly in tough times, one must have the hope of a bright morning which is not hypothetical, but is obvious. One’s life cannot possibly be the happiest or the saddest at all the times. As I said in my last blog, life is all about happiness and struggles combined together to make a meaningful path. Everyone on this planet has to be happy or sad at some point of time because guess what? Time changes. If today it’s bright, tomorrow it would be dark for some reason. And if it’s dark today, it has to become bright tomorrow.

This makes me remember of a song, “Keep your head up” sung by “Andy Grammer”. It is a must to listen to. One of it’s para is just stupendous. Here it is:-

Only rainbows after rain

The sun will always come again.

And it's a circle, circling,

Around again, it comes around again.

I said, (and then he just repeats himself)

So it’s a continuous cycle, not in my hands neither in yours. When nothing is in our hands and when we know it, there is no need of exaggerating the happiness and sobbing on our sorrows. But the only and the most appropriate option we humans are left with then, is accepting the truth. When you know it’s your bright days, live them up to the fullest and shine. And when you know you are in your tough times, smile anyways, because you know how to accept the truth that “this won’t last forever, maybe I feel horrible, sicken, depressed, terrible, sad to it’s peak, but it just won’t last forever. Time will change, morning would come”.

And that is why I say “Be happy at sunrise and hopeful at sunset.”

So that was it. Hope I was able to be of some help and hope you liked the content.

ThankYou. Have a wonderful day.
