GOALS

I really think that when we have a vision that what we need to work on or what we want to achieve, we live better. What I mean by living better is, we are determined, we walk in a direction and are clear of the path we’re walking on and whether it is right or wrong for us.

It can seriously be anything, from the dream of getting the highest reward or the dream of becoming so and so in future.

I think having a goal in life helps us have a direction and gives us a reason. It’s not that we live on that particular dream and if it’s broken we’ll all be destroyed, NO, if we do not succeed at this, maybe god has better plans for us, try somewhere else. But just don’t move without a goal.

I also want to make a point here, maybe some of the students reading this are like “oh no! I haven’t decided what exactly do I want to do in future! I have no goal!” No dear. That’s not true. If you haven’t figured out what is your passion, then make “figuring out my passion” a goal. My personal definition of goal is just not restricted to academic achievements or even package achievements. It’s way beyond that. If someone says I want to experience skydiving and would work hard to earn enough money for that, even that is a very good goal.

Basically everything which pushes you to do better, is a goal. (According to Anushka World Dictionary) 😉

And you know what, goals can even exist in shorter runs and even shorter runs. Like having a goal to score really high in the examinations next month is a good goal example of shorter run. And let’s say having a goal to do 5 sets of crunches today, is an example of very short run. So no matter how big or small, academic or general, short run or long run, whatever it is, a goal is a goal. And what matters the most is how seriously you take that goal.

Having a goal is directly proportional to having determination. And determination put in something, brings satisfaction. Satisfaction brings inner peace and happiness. See how having a goal can actually be advantageous in building a better quality life for yourself!

“Everything which pushes you to do better, is a Goal.”

So that was it. Hope I was able to be of some help and hope you liked the content.

Adios. See you next Sunday.
