Towards living a Better Life! (2-NO TO TOXICITY)

NO TO TOXICITY

Okay so what is the concept of toxicity? Now here what I mean by toxicity is, any kind of toxic substances that make your life toxic and basically unliveable. These are substances which can make you feel depressed, demotivated, sad and can also put you in a situation of self doubt, they can also lower your confidence levels, etc. These substances can be in the forms of people, things and attractions, habits, etc.

• In the form of people- Some people can be really toxic. They have vibes like that or simply their words and actions are toxic. If you feel like there is a person you know, or a toxic relationship or friendship, then please try to avoid them as much as you can. The truth is that whatever surrounds us leaves an imprint. If we would be surrounded by good people, that will be directly shown in our thoughts and actions. But if we are surrounded with wrong and baneful people, you would definitely notice that wrong influence in your thought and actions. So make sure you are in a very good company and do not have even a single person who proves destructive to your life and we’ll being.

• In the form of things- Now here what I mean by things is not the tangible things, but things like social media, YouTube, Tik Tok, etc. Basically all material things. Now social media is really fun to use but it does have it’s bad side too. I have observed this myself- people who use social media more often than usual, become hell materialistic, often lose their decision making power, tend to get blown away with wind more easily, get reserved in their own space, get lazy, waste time, tend to get easily distracted. I can’t say it’s completely a useless thing, because it is not. If used in the perfectly appropriate amount, it’s good. But hardly few nowadays are able to do this. These are just distractions and only makes our life complicated. Either use it very cautiously, or if you find it rather difficult, then try quitting it as soon as possible. What I mean by Toxic attractions is basically those feelings for the opposite gender which sometimes prove to be unhealthy. Such as toxic relationships wherein you are risking your career, or taking your self respect for granted or yourselves are being taken for granted, etc. etc. Make sure you come out of such toxicities very very soon.

• In the form of habits- Our habits too can turn very harmful for ourselves if not payed right attention to at the right time. Habits like- Physical habits like drinking alcohol or smoking or taking tobacco, and Mental habits like habit of feeling less or the Imposter syndrome, the habit of thinking too much, habit of over-stressing, habit of looking down on others, habit of being rude and mean, etc. If you recognise any habit which you think you have, please try to quit it right now as these harmful habits won’t take you longer. They are really important to be won over. Do make a point that if these habits or feelings have just started, then please try consulting someone. Because once these wrong habits over power you, it would be more difficult to quit them.

“SAY NO TO ALL SUCH TOXICITIES, IN ORDER TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR YOURSELF.”
